Some people watch. I capture. But first, I look.
Before I press record, I take a moment to read the room. To notice what's actually happening. That intentional pause is what turns footage into something meaningful, a frame that tells the truth instead of just showing it.
I'm Cas Konings, a 26 years oldĀ Belgian videographer obsessed with the moments that happen just before and just after the obvious shot. The crowd right before the drop. The artist in the wings. The handshake that closes the deal. I'm always stoked when it comesĀ to filming abroad.
I work across two worlds: the raw energy of festivals and live music, and the polished precision of corporate and event video. I take both equally seriously. Because whether it's a product launch or a packed main stage, every project deserves a visual that makes people stop scrolling.
Together with my brother Robbe, also a videographer, I'm building ROKON Productions, as a creative duo based in Belgium. Two sets of eyes, one shared standard.
My main weapon of choice: the Sony FX3.
The goal? To one day follow a major artist on international tour and document every city, every stage, every sleepless night. Until then, I'm building the video that earns that call.
And when I'm not on a job, I'm probably somewhere in the world with a camera anyway. Travel and filmmaking are inseparable for me.
This portfolio is just a glimpse of what I do. For more work or specific examples, feel free to reach out or check out www.rokon.be.
